UK Film council, Scottish Screen and BBC, funded Archive of Dreams; it won audience and jury prizes at Jim Poole Awards (Edinburgh) and the shorts prize at the Turin Film Festival. Although I have worked on other people’s documentaries Archive of Dreamswas my first experience working in a really professional environment and most importantly, it was a project which I brought forward from the conception of the idea through the funding process and into production itself.
It was during the development and creation of this film that I decided that documentary filmmaking is what I want to do.
